Golden Gateway offers several membership options designed especially for individuals, couples, and families:

Fitness Membership

A Fitness Membership gives you access to all facilities and services at Golden Gateway, excluding tennis. You’ll enjoy our pools plus a full range of fitness and recreational activities, group exercise classes, kids programs, massage services, and social events.

You’ll also enjoy reciprocal privileges at The San Francisco Bay Club Monday through Thursday after 7:00 pm, Friday after 2:00 pm, and weekends from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Flex Tennis Membership

With a Flex Tennis Membership, you’ll have access to all facilities and services at Golden Gateway during special Club hours. Enjoy all tennis and pool facilities, our full range of fitness and recreational activities, group exercise classes, massage services, kids programs, and social events.

Hours for Flex Tennis Memberships are weekdays from 5:30 am–4:00 pm and 8:00 pm–10:00 pm; weekends and holidays from 2:00 pm–8:00 pm.

Young Professional Fitness Membership

This membership type is specifically for individuals under age 30 and includes all club privileges, excluding tennis. You’ll enjoy our pools plus a full range of fitness and recreational activities, group exercise classes, kids programs, massage services, and social events.

You’ll also enjoy reciprocal privileges at The San Francisco Bay Club Monday through Thursday after 7:00 pm, Friday after 2:00 pm, and weekends from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Executive Club Membership

Our Executive Club members enjoy full use of the facilities and services at Golden Gateway Tennis & Swim Club, Bay Club Financial District, The San Francisco Bay Club, and Bay Club Marin, as well as the most recent addition to our portfolio, San Francisco Tennis Club.

Executive Club – Tennis Membership

  • Full access to four clubs in San Francisco plus Bay Club Marin
  • All club privileges, including fitness, aquatics, indoor and outdoor tennis, squash, spa, childcare, and more
    • Tennis privileges include 12 indoor courts, 21 outdoor courts, preferred court bookings, and reduced indoor court fees
  • Preferred member pricing
    • 5% off food and beverage purchases
    • 5% off regularly priced items at The Shop
    • All services at The Sanctuary Spa
    • All childcare services
    • All catered banquet events and conference room rentals

Club West

Our premier-level membership, Club West, provides full privileges at all nine clubs in the Western Athletic Clubs portfolio. This includes eight clubs in the Bay Area and one sports resort in San Diego. Count on the best staycation destinations in the country. And enjoy having a personal haven for health and relaxation, everywhere you go. The clubs included in this membership are:

Club West – Premier Membership

  • Full access to all nine clubs and sports resorts
  • Two guest passes per month
  • All club privileges, including fitness, aquatics, indoor and outdoor tennis, squash, spa, childcare, and more
    • Tennis privileges include 17 indoor courts, 56 outdoor courts, preferred court bookings, and reduced indoor court fees
    • Squash privileges include 14 International courts and five 20-foot courts with International markings. No court fees.

All memberships at Golden Gateway Tennis & Swim Club include reciprocal guest privileges at thousands of clubs worldwide through IHRSA, the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association.
